Dice Care
Careful where you roll!
Try to avoid rolling on metal, glass, and other hard surfaces. Wood, tablecloths, and dice trays are a sharp-edge dice’s best friend. This will help prevent superficial chips and scratches to keep ‘em shiny.
Keep away from direct sunlight.
Even the best resins will yellow over time with UV exposure, and many pigments are prone to changing colour as well. Avoid storing/displaying them in direct sunlight to prevent premature discolouration.
Avoid harsh cleaners.
If they need a wash, water and a soft microfiber cloth is all you need. Mild soap is fine too if necessary, but many chemical cleaners will cloud the surfaces, and some may even dissolve them like acetone. Don’t leave them to soak though, too long in water may damage them too.
Store kindly.
If they’re knocking about in a hard container with other dice, they’ll inevitably wear away at each other. To keep them in top condition, a soft storage solution that separates them is best.
Don’t let them get too hot.
If they get over 40°C (100°F), the resin will soften. If that happens, just set your dice on a clean flat surface in a cool spot, and they’ll firm back up. The resin is still safe to touch while it’s soft, but they’ll be far more prone to damage, so be gentle!
